It is now the 2nd year of the Gezi protests in Turkey. Art mainly flourished on the walls during the protests with amazing murals and quotes. Eventhough the protests are over the aftermath stays quite strong in the art scene whether it be in exhibitions at galleries, biennials or independent artworks by independent artists such as Dilan Bozyel. Turkish artist with Kurdish descent, Bozyel is recently participating at the Mardin Biennial.
